Alaina Geurds-Tonelli, O.D.

New Jersey Location

Dr. Tonelli is a former student of Dr. Wasserman's and has been practicing Optometry since 1999. We have been pleased to have her on our staff since 2010. She graduated from Villanova University pre-med and received her doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1999. Dr. Tonelli did her residency in Ocular disease and Blind Rehabilitation at the West Side VA Hospital and VA Hines Blind Rehabilitation Center in Chicago.

Dr. Tonelli has extensive experience with children as well as adults and works closely with Dr. Wasserman. She specializes in fitting contact lenses.

Dr. Tonelli grew up in New Jersey and lives currently in Upper Makefield, Pennsylvania with her husband and four daughters. She loves to travel, visit the beach, and spend time with her family and friends.

Stacey Cesarano, O.D.

Plymouth Meeting and Marlton Locations

Dr. Cesarano received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and went on to get her Optometry Doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She previously was the Clinical Director at Lasik Plus with Dr. Shah, then spent the last 13 years at Penn Medicine running a comprehensive eye practice.

As part of our expert medical team, Dr. Cesarano performs consultations and post-op exams for LASIK, PRK, SMILE, ICL, and RLE.

Outside the office most of her time is spent chauffeuring, spectating and coaching her 3 sons in the sport of the season. She also enjoys reading, relaxing at the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Lisa Rago, Center Manager

New Jersey Location

Lisa has worked in the medical field since 1988 as part of both an internal medicine practice in New Jersey and a dental office in Colorado. Upon her return to NJ in 2001 she has worked in Ophthalmology and has been with Dr. Wasserman since 2005 as his laser/surgical coordinator as well as his practice administrator. She has been the practice administrator/laser coordinator for LASIK Experts with Dr. Wasserman and Dr. Shah since 2020.

Karin Mangan, Center Manager

Plymouth Meeting and Marlton Locations

A Philadelphia native, Karin Mangan brings a strong clinical foundation to her role as Center Manager at LASIK Experts. Prior to managing the center, she spent 11 years working directly in ophthalmology, specializing as a refractive surgery ophthalmic technician. This deep industry background fuels her passion for providing exceptional patient care and helping individuals improve their vision and quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
